The virtual book tour which CM Book Tours is organizing for me between August 19 to August 25 is the first one of this kind that I’ve ever participated in.
At first, I had mixed feelings with regards to the way these paid book tours work but, for the little money I paid ($45US), the exposure I get is worth every penny. Especially when all I had to do was just send a press release from where the bloggers and book reviewers take whatever they want.
The book tour started yesterday with a 4.5 star review by Jayme from The Swallows’ Nest, a blogger and “avid reader” who wrote:
“Everything was well thought out, ideas were fully developed, and it was well presented. It was easy to read and understand, even without a thorough knowledge of The Matrix or either Alice book.”
She was also kind enough to place the review on her other book review website, Bewitched by Books. There are no comments on her posts as yet, but I’ve been receiving positive feedback on my writer’s Facebook page.
