HOW TO COUNT FROM 50 TO 60 IN MONGOLIAN | Learn Mongolian Lesson #6

In this episode of Learn Mongolian, my Mongolian friend and Olympic archer Gangtugs Jantsan will teach you how to count from 50 to 60 in Mongolian.

As a general rule, the numerals from 51 to 59 are formed by combining the word for 50 (tayv) with the respective number. For example, 51 is a combination of 50 and 1: tayv (50) + neg (1) = tayvin neg (51).

Let’s begin the lesson.

50 – tayv
51 – tayvin neg
52 – tayvin hoyor
53 – tayvin guraw
54 – tayvin doruw
55 – tayvin tav
56 – tayvin zurgaa
57 – tayvin doloo
58 – tayvin naym
59 – tayvin yes
60 – jar
