HOW TO COUNT FROM 40 TO 50 IN MONGOLIAN | Learn Mongolian Lesson #5

In this episode of Learn Mongolian, my Mongolian friend and Olympic archer Gangtugs Jantsan will teach you how to count from 40 to 50 in Mongolian.

As a general rule, the numerals from 41 to 49 are formed by combining the word for 40 with the respective number. For example, 41 is a combination of 40 and 1: duch (40) + neg (1) = duchin neg (41).

Let’s begin the lesson.

40 – duch
41 – duchin neg
42 – duchin hoyor
43 – duchin guraw
44 – duchin doruw
45 – duchin tav
46 – dguchin zurgaa
47 – duchin doloo
48 – duchin naym
49 – duchin yes
50 – tayv
