Virtual Book Tour Day 3: ‘The Matrix and the Alice Books’

The third day of my virtual book tour with The Matrix and the Alice Book was quite a disappointment, as the blogger/book reviewer who was supposed to post an article about my book did not live up to expectations.

I guess this is one of the problems one will always encounter with virtual book tour providers. There’s no guarantee that the blogger who commits to posting a book review or spotlight on their blog will actually do it.

CM Book Tours promised that they’re going to get another blogger to post instead, but this might only be “in a couple of days.” Until now, their response to this problem was professional and prompt and I do trust that they will keep their promise.

Update (August 23): A standby reader and blogger from Book Crazy Reviews filled in this spot and gave my book a positive review:

“I found this an interesting and in depth read of something I really hadn’t thought of previously.”

Would this experience deter me in the future in employing the services of the same or other virtual book tour companies? Definitely not. The Matrix and the Alice Book is getting more 4 and 5-star reviews on Amazon.com and the new posts will only increase the book’s “presence” on Google.
