HOW TO COUNT FROM 80 TO 90 IN MONGOLIAN | Learn Mongolian Lesson #9

In this episode of Learn Mongolian, my Mongolian friend and Olympic archer Gangtugs Jantsan will teach you how to count from 80 to 90 in Mongolian.

As a general rule, the numerals from 81 to 89 are formed by combining the word for 80 (naya) with the respective number. For example, 81 is a combination of 80 and 1: naya (80) + neg (1) = nayan neg (81).

Let’s begin the lesson.

80 – naya
81 – nayan neg
82 – nayan hoyor
83 – nayan guraw
84 – nayan doruw
85 – nayan tav
86 – nayan zurgaa
87 – nayan doloo
88 – nayan naym
89 – nayan yes
90 – yer
