Haiku

Bells in the church toll
Faithful monks kneel by the cross
Floors screeching in pain.

Cinquain 1

I am
Forever strong
Never in search of love
They all come and all fade away
No more

rain
wet, cold
pouring, dripping, drizzling
it makes you stay inside

Battlefield

The battlefield is silent,
The earth is full of corpses,
The corpses are full of blood,
The blood is dripping onto the grass.

The grass is crushed under horseshoes.
The horses are drifting around the battlefield,
They are looking for their masters,
Or maybe, for green grass not stained with blood.

Some men are standing,
They are looking for their brothers of arms,
Unfortunately, they cannot be found.

Under the tree

Under the tree she’s waiting,
She knows that he won’t come,
He’s been long gone.

Under the tree she’s crying,
She knows that it’s in vain,
There’s nobody on the plain.

Under the tree she’s sleeping,
She knows that HE is there,
To guide her when she’s in despair.
