Crăciun fericit. Merry Christmas

Hi. This is Mihnea. Welcome to Romanian Hub, the Ultimate Romanian Language Learning Portal.

The festive season is upon us and what better way to celebrate it than by wising your family and friends in Romanian? In this article of Learn Romanian Blog I will teach 5 expressions you can use to wish someone on Christmas.

Hai să începem. Let’s start.

Îți urez un Crăciun fericit. (informal)

Vă urez un Crăciun fericit. (formal or in the plural)

I wish you a Merry Christmas.

Să ai parte numai de bucurii.

I wish you only happiness.

Fie ca sărbătorile de Crăciun să vă aducă sănătate și voie bună.

May the Christmas holidays bring you health and joy.

Să vă găsească Moșul cu masa bogată și sufletul curat.

May Santa find you with a bountiful table and a pure soul.

Fie ca mirosul de iarnă să vă umple inimile de bucurie și sufletele de liniște.

May the smell of winter fill your hearts with joy and your souls with peace.
