Here are 9 things you should know about Vasant Kunj.

  1. It is located very close to Indira Gandhi International Airport and the commercial hub of Gurgaon.
  1. Vasant Kunj was acquired by the government in 1960s, previous to that being just a farmland area.




  1. It is is divided into five sectors, Sector C being the most prestigious.
  1. Manmohan Singh, the former prime minister of India between 2004 and 2014, lives in this area.
  1. The first Islamic mausoleum in New Delhi, Sultan Ghari’s tomb, as well as the tallest brick minaret in the world, Qutb Minar, are located here.

  1. Prominent schools, university campuses, and hospitals were also built here.
